A bit of a novelty to see a representative of one of Ireland's leading yards at this track as David Wachman's filly AWAKENED SPIRIT makes her debut. She looks nothing special on breeding though an entry in the Group 1 Moyglare Stakes suggests she's shown some ability so she gets the nod. Fenwick Gale is related to four winners and is another newcomer to note along with Agent Allison, a half-sister to last month's winner Masters Blazing. Hi Candy and Disko Dasko's pedigrees points to them needing a longer trip to show their worth while Alexandrakollontai looks best of those with experience on her recent second at Folkestone.
