It was soft ground when THE VIK won a maiden at Killarney in October. A couple of subsequent winners have come out of the race and he’s taken to make a winning start for new connections. Dougies Dream won at Newcastle recently and is preferred to Agonyclite, who landed a lowly classified race at the same track. Win Win Power, Grangeclare View and Barney's Bay have all been in the mix on the all-weather recently with the latter preferred.
