        Verdict

        This trip will take some getting in the conditions but Dontgiveuponbob has enough experience and was staying on over a mile at Thirsk. EYECATCHER has shown enough in two all-weather starts to suggest he will be suited by the trip and a chance is taken on him handling the conditions. Hemingford would have a chance second to none on his victory over an extended mile on heavy going at Nottingham, though he didn't run well at Yarmouth last time. Austrian School made a winning start over a mile at Ripon and, though disappointing subsequently, should have no problems staying the extra. Kannapolis had little chance at York after a promising debut but Bombshell Bay didn't quite appear to last out a mile at Windsor.
