Verdict

Gary Moore has won this nice prize for the past two years and dual course winner TARA ITI looks to have been targeted at the race having had a break since scoring twice at Fontwell in the summer. Toothless has had just four runs for Paul Nicholls, scoring twice and beaten a long way in the other two. He looks the type to do better this campaign as does Diamond Egg, an easy winner of a Wincanton maiden in April. Milton Harris has his horses in top form and Uggy Uggy Uggy was a comfortable winner at Warwick though both victories to date have been on good going. Three-times Flat winner landed a Huntingdon novices' hurdle in March but is another who would prefer drier conditions.
