Apache Dawn showed great promise on his debut and is taken to score second time of asking at the expense of Carmond and Smoke And Mirrors. The selection is a winner on the level and is rated as high as 84 on the all weather. He finished an eye catching second of ten to Wyeth at Plumpton on his hurdles debut and with that experience now behind him he should prove difficult to beat this time around. Carmond will pose as the biggest danger having shown enough form on his debut when finishing fourth of ten at Fontwell. Brendan Powell has enrolled the services of Tony McCoy which is a big bonus so any market moves should be noted. Smoke And Mirrors is another to add to the short list, but the fact that Tony McCoy has decide to decline the ride suggests that he should be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to APACHE DAWN.
