Verdict
A fascinating bumper that should be well contested. Geordie Peacock and Mr Ex have both shown enough to warrant respect, but we will side with Nocturnally. The selection hails from a yard that do well in this type of event and he showed plenty of promise last season. He improved on his debut run to chase home the Jonjo O'Neill trained Young Dude, form that should be good enough to win a race of this nature. Geordie Peacock wasn't beaten far on his only outing last campaign in the race won by Regal Heights. There should be plenty more to come and he looks a big threat to all. Mr Ex is from a yard in great form and has shown a similar level of form in two outings, he could be set for more place money. Point to point winner Malt Sunflower and the newcomer Forensic Investor should be watched closely in the betting, but Nocturnally appears to have the strongest form on show and gets our vote.
