      Verdict

      Dubawi Dancer made a winning debut over timber at Doncaster before a poor run at Kempton but did much better at Taunton last time and will appreciate the quick ground. GREYFRIARS DRUMMER won on the Flat for Mark Johnston and made a very encouraging debut over hurdles for Charlie Mann at Stratford a month ago. He was returning from a break and, with that under his belt, can get off the mark over timber. Persian Herald was consistent on the level though won just once in 18 starts, while Bert The Alert won a maiden at Lingfield in January and started favourite for his debut in a Fontwell bumper in October.
