Slate House, a former Grade 1 winner, has been successful twice at Kempton recently but carries a penalty and this track is a lot different in nature. Rose Sea Has, Ballinsker, Mercian Prince and ANNUAL INVICTUS all ran in a voided race here last month. The latter developed into a decent novice last season and will welcome a return to better ground having struggled a little on softer going over the winter. Tamaroc Du Mathan never seems to run two races alike but Mahler's Promise could pick up a nice prize off his current mark if kept going through the summer.
