handy, not fluent 8th and ridden, plugged on one pace thereafter
in touch, not fluent 5th, dropped to rear after 3 out, weakened quickly and pulled up before 2 out
tracked leaders, pushed along and chased winner 2 out, kept on, no impression
made virtually all, jumped fluently, shaken up and drew clear from last, comfortably
in rear, reminders at times and never really travelling throughout, ridden after 3 out and no response

Lake Shore Drive has won his last two over course and distance but Brian Hughes gets off him to partner Caius Marcius, who also won over track and trip last time when eased in grade though is not certain to beat runner-up Glen Ava again on fractionally worse terms. For Jim won at Uttoxeter in July but would have probably preferred a softer surface and Gift Of Kings has never on on Turf. THE WOUNDED KNEE only won a maiden here last month but did so despite some novicey jumping. He has a background in points and this big step up in trip should see him in a much better light.
