In depth

Verdict

This is the day’s feature and a competitive handicap. Jemsa has taken well to fences and was a deserving winner at Compiegne when last seen, though has to contend with the inevitable weight rise. MOTU FAREONE was beaten five lengths but is now 6lb better off and, with David Cottin mob-handed in this, is fancied to turn the tables. Baxter Du Berlais won over course and distance in January and almost certainly has more to offer while Cottin’s other runners, Nixon Du Berlais and Holy Child, could also play a part.Stop Line has guaranteed fitness on her side so is preferred to the maiden Goodwin of the others.
