    In depth

    Verdict

The unbeaten MANOBO has already won in France when landing a Listed race at Saint-Cloud without breaking sweat. Soft going is an unknown for Charlie Appleby’s progressive charge but the longer trip shouldn’t be a problem and he can confirm latest running with the home challengers Kertez and Sa’ad. The latter pair will be more at home on today’s slower ground with the former preferred to stablemates Tides Of War and Love Child while Aidan O’Brien sends over Interpretation, a Listed winner at Leopardstown before struggling in the St Leger. The selection’s stable companion Kemari won the Queen’s Vase at Ascot in June and Frankie gets the leg-up but Tashkhan has plenty to find and German Derby runner-up Alter Adler is preferred.
