Pension Fund can roll back the years to deprive Vrubel and Successor. Pension Fund isn't quite the light he once was but the inclement weather conditions may well play into his hands as he has had success with cut in the ground and is off a basement mark of 46 today. Vrubel has bits and pieces of form that entitle him to consideration. It is slightly worrying that he pulled up last time out under National Hunt rules but he run a fair race in banded company off a 1lb higher mark so is worthy of a mention. Successor did finish second to Hard Nose in a juvenile for Barry Hills on soft going. His yard are in form and he gave a fair account of himself last time out at Lingfield. Gala Sunday has a decent pilot booked tonight. He has not shown a lot for a long while but it is interesting that Serena Brotherton has elected to take the ride. Platinum Pirate is another to have form on a soft surface. He is not quite the same horse he once was but this is such a modest contest that he really wouldn't have to be up to much tonight. Loaded Gun has to be respected from the Brisbourne camp if there is any money for him. Not a particularly hot betting medium but one in which Pension Fund has an each way chance.
