Chief Editor has the ability to win this at the expense of Bond City and Baby Strange. The selection caught the eye when second on his seasonal reappearance at Doncaster behind Northern Fling. He was progressive as a three year old last year winning three times and even though he has been raised a further three pounds for his latest run he looks like a horse to follow this flat season. Bond City ran with credit on his first outing this year when fifth of ten in the same race as the selection. There is no reason the form should be reversed but he will strip fitter for the race. Baby Strange was the winner of three races as a two year old and in fact won the first race to be staged at the refurbished Ascot track. He missed last season and has yet to find his form this year so is probably best watched until showing signs of better form. So for the winner we return to Chief Editor.
