A low grade affair and the vote goes to Compton Drake, who is the least exposed and remains capable of further improvement. Gerard Butler's charge is from the same family as Kayf Tara and Opera House and should prove well suited by the step up to this trip after finding ten furlongs too sharp at Bath last time. Tass Heel was an impressive winner over this trip at Southwell in January but hasn't been seen since flopping nearly three months ago and his turf form is unspectacular. Academy shaped promisingly when third over course and distance late last month and should be thereabouts once again. Recent all-weather winner Windshift is another to consider but Harlestone Bay appears plenty high enough in the weights on the evidence to date.
