      Verdict

      Rated 77, HAWAAM has just managed to sneak into this race for sprinters who haven’t won this year. Roger Fell’s four-year-old, a course and distance winner, takes a big drop in class and Silvestre De Sousa rides so he looks the one to be on. Something Lucky has won twice on Turf but is better on the all-weather and Rickyroadboy couldn’t build on a Pontefract second here last month. National Glory is usually thereabouts but has a poor strike-rate.
