Brian The Snail took advantage of the drop into Class 4 company at Doncaster and this looks tougher from 6lb higher. Moon Trouble won on soft going in France and showed his versatility with a comfortable victory at Chelmsford a week ago. He comes here with a 5lb penalty and will make a bold bid to defy the extra but ROYAL RESIDENCE looks the one to be on. James Tate's colt has been a short-priced beaten favourite the last twice but loves testing ground as he showed when runner-up in the Ayr Bronze Cup in September. Both Dalton and Alaadel were around three lemgths behind at Ayr and the latter hasn't run since October. Last Page won a Leicester handicap on fast going and is untested on today's ground.
