      Verdict

      Slightly better ground may well suit Carlton but he was never travelling when odds-on at Leicester. PERFUSE pulled hard at Pontefract but still performed with credit and he gets a handy 5lb here from Rogue Sea, who bolted up on debut at Yarmouth but probably didn’t beat much. Trust House will be all the better for his fourth at Newbury while Sea Of Tranquility is an interesting newcomer being a half-brother to a three-times winner in France.
