Miss Lehman can defy a penalty against stablemate King's Travel, Shaman and Olimpo. This should not take too much winning, and the recent course and distance success of Miss Lehman makes her the one to beat despite her having to shoulder a seven-pound penalty. Jimmy Frost's seven-year-old humped eight-pounds overweight including her rider's allowance here 10 days ago, but won as she liked and must be followed again. It is no surprise to see Sarah Gaisford keep the ride as she did such a good job when stepping in for the injured Chris Honour last time, and she can step out of the shadows again to prevail. King's Travel's last win came over fences two years ago and his latest efforts over hurdles have been in selling company, so he is definitely the yard's second string. Shaman is on a retrieval mission, having ducked out at the last when in with every chance at Plumpton 18 days a go. He may well have won but for that mishap, and Philip Hide, who sat on him for the first time, keeps the partnership intact. If that latest effort was no fluke, he should give the selection a race, but has to concede plenty of weight. Olimpo comes from a top yard but has a mountain to climb judged on his British starts to date, and we much prefer the claims of Miss Lehman.
