Algenon is expected to return to winning ways here, Sahara Legend and Outside Investor look to be the obvious dangers. The Phillip Hobbs trained five-year-old was very disappointing at perth last time out but may have hated the fast ground. He is better judged on his previous victory here on softish ground. He was a fortunate winner as the leader came down at the last. However he was well clear of the third horse and this event looks a little bit weaker. Sahara Legend would also be helped by any more rain as his best run this season at Worcester was on soft ground. Meanwhile Outside Investor is given a squeak on the pick of last season's form. Of the others Missy Moscow does at least boast winning form this season, but in a very modest affair Algenon does look the safest option.
