This will take some getting and we take Elbistan to see off All Lit Up and Anabaa's Secret. The selection is unproven on the surface but as a son of Peintre Celebre, there's every chance he'll handle a bit of give in the ground. He ran up against a fair performer in Rory Boy last time out and compensation can await. Anabaa's Secret is moderate on the level but ran creditably on debut at Bangor. There's plenty of reason to believe he'll cope in these conditions. All Lit Up stayed up to two miles on the flat. Stamina ought not to be the issue here. Bathwick Man had proved regressive on the level this summer. Special Feature cost 175000 guineas at the sales and is beginning to look expensive. Bill Turner's juvenile hurdlers are always worth more than just a secondary glance in the betting so Ocean Transit, who was pulled up on debut, cannot be written off readily. Elbistan, as with many, has questions about the ground so is put up as a selection albeit with major reservations.
