    Verdict

Bernard Llewellyn runs three and Taunton second Ascot Day is respected along with Cogital, who had a pipe-opener on the Flat last month. Balleticon has been a bit disappointing this term but is now tried in cheekpieces. NOBLE SAVAGE has probably slipped to a mark off which he should be capable of going close, especially with a 7lb claimer on board, and he gets the nod over Newbury and Hereford runner-up Chadlington Lad. Ladykiller tended to jump right before falling last time and he will not be able to repeat that trait here.
