Verdict
A moderate event where DEE CEE ELLE is our idea of the winner with Hitaaf and Shanahan as the dangers. The mare put up a below par effort at Ludlow last time out but were she to reproduce her second in similar grade at Bangor, it might be enough on this occasion. Hitaaf finished ahead of our selection last time but the suspicion is that he may be better over slightly further than this trip. Shanahan has a visor on for the first time. The ground is no obstacle but his attitude is. Top Trees fell on his return from a long absence. He does seem to be something of a course specialist. Cavalry Twill wasn't completely disgraced behind Boogie Dancer in a recent event at this course but his record says it all. The remainder look very ordinary. Dee Cee Elle secures the recommendation.
