Verdict

Maxi Chop has the form to win a race like this and is eased in grade. But he has questions to answer having been pulled up when favourite at Stratford at the end of May. There wouldn't be much between Paul Nicholls' charge and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY on the book and the latter has the better recent form having finished a close-up fourth in a class 2 handicap at Worcester last month over 2m4f. Spa Hill has won a bumper and was placed four times in Ireland for previous connections but Starchaser looks modest and Phil Middleton's pair Con Forza and Exitas appear to have plenty to find.
