      Verdict

      A couple of these bid for hat-tricks but Katebird steps up in grade off a 7lb higher mark having won at Chelmsford last week. COUNT CALABASH is also upped in class but he barely broke sweat to win by four lengths at Bath and looks the more progressive. Paul Cole’s charge is fancied to defy an 8lb rise while Quothquan came up short in this grade at Windsor last time having won at the same track earlier. Handicap newcomer Peloton was three lengths ahead of Broughtons Knight when second at Salisbury and is also preferred to the more exposed pair Challow and Ocean Temptress.
