Magicalmysterytour is selected here ahead of Zaif and Night Cru. Magicalmysterytour put in a fair run at Windsor last time on only his second run for new connections, so the former Aidan O'Brien inmate could well have more to come. Zaif has been raised three pounds for a Beverley win but he still looks competitive to us, more so than his stablemate, Spanish Don, the 2004 Cambridgeshire winner looking to be in decline of late. Night Cru is running consistently and, given that he is due to go up by three pounds in future ratings, his chance is there for all to see, and Sunisa's chance is not a forlorn one given that he is on a 12-furlong winning mark from last May. Shotfire Ridge must have been hard to assess based on his maiden win with the form of all bar the Sound Of Nature - a winner since off a mark of 80 - from the first six home looking modest, and the market should be watched with regard to the lightly-raced Sir Michael Stoute runner Bedizen. Finally, with the form of Archiestown's latest maiden run having produced some very good winners, including Group-placed Mashaahed, Listed winner New Guinea, and Saturday's Northumberland Plate favourite, Nosferatu, he cannot be ruled out. Once again, though, the selection is Magicalmysterytour.
