Verdict

Loxley may well have needed his run at Doncaster but that was still a very disappointing effort from a former Group 2 winner. Mountain Hunter also wears the blue of Godolphin and has improved with every run this year, though has never won outside of handicap company. Weekender only had two rivals at Salisbury and this doesn’t look far enough while the hat-trick seeking Ojooba has a mountain climb on these terms. MOUNT EVEREST made an encouraging reappearance in a Group 3 at Leopardstown and should take all the beating here if that has blown away the cobwebs.
