Verdict

Away He Goes finished less than a length in front of Passion And Glory when scoring over 1m2f at Newbury last time. The latter will be fancied to reverse running on more favourable terms but the former had to overcome trouble in running on that occasion and may well confirm superiority. John Gosden’s yard may have already tasted success on today’s card and has another with leading claims in BALTIC SONG. He won over today’s trip at Lingfield back in February and there should be lots more to come from the half-brother to a Group 1 winner this year. The remainder are harder to fancy though the newcomer Adonijah is entered in the St Leger and worth a second glance.
