    Verdict

The Prescott yard are certainly amongst those that are in a purple patch at the moment and there's always a danger that the 6lb penalty won't be enough to stop the improving three-year-old Melinoe and she could run up a sequence (would not be the first from the stable to do that). However she faces a tough rival here in NOTICE who is 4lb well-in here and should appreciate this trip having run well over shorter the last twice. Moorside may well be of interest stepping back into handicaps with the other three all having something to prove.
