SPEED DATING is hard to oppose here and gets the vote to beat Dancing Jest and Bollin Dolly. Sir Mark Prescott's charge has really improved of late, winning three of his last six starts and filling second on the other three occasions, and the manner of his Wednesday success at Kempton suggests there's more to come. Of course this is an altogether different test but he has form on the turf and his trainer is an expert at placing his horses; he looks to have found another winning opportunity for Speed Dating under a penalty, with this trip his best. Dancing Jest has conditions to suit and arrives here fresh having been given a break since winning at Lingfield. She's still competitively treated returned to turf and could get an easy time out in front, therefore rates a threat to all. Bollin Dolly was beaten only by a fine Paul Hanagan ride last time but has been raised another 2lbs to a mark six higher than her Ripon success in May and that appears harsh. Folio had been plummeting down the weights before taking second to a rejuvenated rival last time but is another to be punished by the assessor for taking second and the veteran may struggle, Laish Ya Hajar may be found out by his 5lb rise as this race looks much tougher than the one he won at Chepstow while Truly Asia didn't look to stay this distance on his sole try over it. Speed Dating is in fantastic form and should continue his winning spree.
