Verdict

Wait For The Will should be capable of defying a small penalty for last week's win and gets the call over Flotta and Bendarshaan in the finale. Gary Moore's gelding is a tough sort who overcame the rainy conditions when scoring at Goodwood last week, and with just a three-pound rise, should power his way to victory again. A confirmed middle-distance performer on the Flat, he is no slouch over hurdles and in fact has already schooled over fences. He has most to fear from Flotta who is only three pounds higher than when scoring at Doncaster last October. However, he normally needs further and will again no doubt be outpaced. Bendershaan has three duck-eggs to his name in the United Arab Emirates this term but may be freshened up by the move to Mark Johnston. He is best watched on this occasion though, with Wait For The Will worth waiting for in the last.
