Verdict

Ryan Moore’s presence on Douglas Macarthur suggests the Group 3-placed colt is preferred of the Ballydoyle trio though Arcada looks to have equally strong form on his third to Churchill in a Group 2 at the Curragh. Best Of Days also has a shout on his narrow defeat in the Acomb at York last month and he’s preferred to Godolphin’s other runner Bay Of Poets. But MONTATAIRE took another step forward when upped to a mile in Listed company at Salisbury last time. Mark Johnston’s colt beat a previous winner by five lengths on that occasion and there may well be more to come from him over today’s trip. The remainder look to have their work cut out in this company.
