As usual in this sort of Newmarket maiden the market should provide a good guide to the competitor's chances. Highest Honour is arguably the best bred in the race being a Polish Precedent half-brother to the high class Mozart. He holds a Racing Post entry and has the Derby as his long term aim. He is the TEAMtalk selection. Another well-bred newcomer is Protection Money who is a half-brother to French 1000 Guineas winner Victory Note. The jockey booking looks positive and any market support should be noted though he lacks the necessary entries to suggest he is top class. Zaynaat comes from a stable in form and has the best racecourse form but connections may be looking for a handicap mark for this one so is passed over here. St Andrews looks a likely type on breeding and put in a pleasing debut effort behind the potentially smart Rimrod at Sandown late last month. He should progress from that effort and looks the one the newcomers have to beat. Exit To Heaven was not given a hard race at Salisbury on his debut and should make enough progress to be involved in the finish.
