Verdict
DESERT ANGEL has the best piece of recent form with a third over today’s trip at Ascot. Further progress looks likely and the Hannon colt is taken to open his account. Golden War has a shout on an earlier second over 6f at Goodwood having struggled in Group 2 company last month but Subjective Value was still well beaten when runner-up at Ayr last time and Modern Games never figured on his debut. Saga is a full brother to a Group 3 winner and is preferred to Thunder Legend and Haarar of the newcomers.
