YAFTA is a certain improver on the back of a pleasing debut at Chester when fourth to subsequent Coventry Stakes runner-up Headway. The Hannon colt will take some beating if that form can be taken at face value. Check the market for the Meade pair as the yard is unusually quiet at present but other interesting newcomers could make life tricky for the selection. Any strong moves for Derby entry Global Giant, John Gosden's Main Street and James Tate's Real Estate should be noted and it is interesting to see Mark Johnston pitch Cape Bunting in against the boys first time up.
