This looks a tricky opener in which it may pay to side with PENANG CINTA ahead of Grand Art and Harlequinn Danseur. David Evans' gelding was not disgraced on his latest start at Lingfield on the turf where he was beaten into a two-length third behind Mossman Gorge. He still looks to be feasibly well-treated on a mark of 57 and is nominated accordingly. Ovthenight tries the first-time visor, whilst Captain Mainwaring may now be well-treated but it is probably time for backers to start panicking. Grand Art, like the selection, has been holding his form well and is unlikely to be far away, although his jockey is less-experienced than many in the race. Star Choice and Great View must be considered, but for the winner we will plump for Penang Cinta.
