Verdict

Quite a competitive contest, despite the lack of runners. It's The Limit looked as though he would benefit from a step up in trip when making his seasonal reappearance here at the Guineas meeting and it must be of concern that a lack of a strong pace will again find him out. However, he did make all when beating the useful Rosa Parks on the July Course last year and if allowed to stride on, could take some pegging back. He is the choice to lead his rivals a merry dance. From a stable going through a purple patch with its older horses, Global Challenge is of obvious interest. Lightly raced, he is open to any amount of improvement, but whether he is up to giving weight to the selection, is another matter. Shahzan House is open to improvement at this trip, but he will need to, while Red Wine, although useful, is well exposed and it would be a surprise if these do not improve past him. King's Mill probably needs more give underfoot and Lillebror, a multiple winner in Germany is best watched for the time being. Stunning Force is going the right way, but will need to improve again on what he has achieved to date, if he is to take a hand in this.
