In depth

Verdict

Spectrum Of Light was second at Newcastle in December and third here on his reappearance. Horn Of Plenty looks a likely improver this year and Sarvan defied a 100/1 starting price when third here 12 days ago but it will be disappointing if the stoutly-bred ANNIE DE VEGA can’t build on her third at Nottingham in the autumn when she was heavily punted. Tenbury Wells was a hot favourite at Wolverhampton in December and represents the in-form Gosden team but may need more time.
