Verdict

Proud Chieftain and Boom Or Bust will need a big improvement on last year's form to get involved and Stipulate has four lengths to find with Mull Of Killough. The latter was in the form of his life last year ending the season with a Group 3 victory over track and trip before winning a Listed event back here. Premio Loco wasn't at his best in the Winter Derby at Lingfield last month but is certainly good enough to land this if BONFIRE fails to fulfil last season's early promise. The winner of the Dante Stakes at York in May, disappointing efforts in the Derby and the Eclipse followed, but Andrew Balding's charge still has the potential to make-up into a high-class performer and gets the vote on his comeback.
