    Verdict

There have been a few shocks in this in the past ten years though four favourites have been successful. The market should tell us more about the newcomers but DUTCH COURAGE showed plenty on his introduction in what looked a strong maiden here last month and can take this for Richard Fahey. Newcomer Prisca, a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor out of a winning mare, may do best of Richard Hannon's pair but Mimi Luke has had her chances and may have to wait for a nursery. Baileys Celebrate is related to a host of winners and will know her job as will Alfaayza, a half-sister to five winners including the useful stayer Akmal.
