There was a lot to like about Infallible's debut win in November and she's preferred to Nijoom Dubai, Spinning Lucy and Shabiba. John Gosden has made a relatively quiet start to the season but he has won this race a couple of times in recent years which increases confidence behind the likelihood of Infallible being ready to do herself justice. It's early days for the form of her backend maiden and the time was slower than the other division of the race but the Pivotal filly won in the manner of a good horse and had reportedly worked like one. Spinning Lucy improved markedly at the end of the season and would have to go close if maintaining that progress over the winter. She had finished behind Shabiba in an October maiden and the Tregoning filly must be accorded respect following the stable's success with Il Warrd at the weekend. Nijoom Dubai hasn't been seen out since winning the Albany Stakes in June and it will be interesting to see whether there is any confidence behind her on her return as she was at the top of the yard's pecking order at two. The remainder are, by no means, out of this but those are four we like the look of and we think that Infallible will prevail.
