Verdict

This may not turn out to be that competitive so the consistent maiden Indy Driver rates highly as do last time out winners Madam President and Paint The Town Red but we'll give another chance to GAIA PRINCE. It's fair to say that he hasn't lived up to early expectations as he showed plenty of promise in maidens at two and three. All may not be lost just yet though with the stable making a good start to this season and he didn't run too badly at Folkestone where he was a little too keen for his own good. Indy Driver represents a solid option following a fast-finishing second at Nottingham and he may yet be able to get his head in front. Madam President showed improved form to win a modest race at Kempton but the runner-up was beaten in a seller next time which puts the form in perspective. Paint The Town Red wasn't winning out of turn at Leicester and could go on again but he'll need to in order to defy a 5lb rise. Plaisterer was nibbled at in the market when running fairly well at Windsor and could be suited by the shorter trip but she appears to have her quirks. That remark also applies to Old Romney who needs to be produced at the right time but he comes into the race on the back of a fair effort at Pontefract. Few possess rock solid claims and Gaia Prince should hold every chance.
