Tedburrow has been a grand ambassador for his yard, but he will surely need this outing, his first since last July. Ashdown Express once held 2000 Guineas aspirations, but he has since proved well suited to sprint trips. He will be at home on the fast surface and has gone well fresh in the past as he showed when third in the European Free Handicap on his seasonal debut at this meeting last year. Bishops Court is a capable performer, but he is a hold up horse, who may be better suited by plenty of cover, something he won't get in this. Needwood Blade and Resplendent Cee are closely matched on several bits of form and neither can be discounted, while front-runner Smokin Beau, doesn't know how to run a bad race. He will be there to shot at and the one most likely to take advantage is Vision Of Night, who gets in here without a penalty.
