In depth

Verdict

Tom Clover has his string in magnificent form but Daring Guest might have preferred a quicker surface. Sandridge Lad is an all-weather specialist but Phoenix Star, who won at Kempton in March, should handle the switch of surface. Herringswell reappears on a four-timer and Englishman still pops up in this grade now and again. Julie Camacho had a sprint winner here last week so I Know How is worth a second look but INDIAN RAJ, though arguably better over a stiff 5f, may have the class to defy top weight being 3lb lower than when successful at Sandown last summer.
