In depth

Verdict

GOLDEN RULES will likely prove a warm order in this. The Gosden charge was beaten only a nose upped to today’s trip at Wolverhampton and the form looks solid with the winner going in again and fourth-placed Rajinsky subsequently landing a decent handicap at Ripon. Soto Sizzler went close over 1m4f at Epsom last time and A Star Above placed at Doncaster but both were well beaten on previous attempts over this far. The Olympian has undergone wind surgery since well beaten over hurdles earlier in the year and returns to the Flat having won a maiden over 1m2f at this track back in 2018.
