Verdict
There's little between these on official ratings though penalties for both Grandeur and Universal makes their tasks that much tougher. Ahzeemah found stablemate Cavalryman too good over 2m at Meydan early in the year but it could be a different story over today's shorter trip while the dual Group 1 winner at Woodbine, Wigmore Hall, may well reverse latest running in the Jockey Club Stakes on better terms with Universal. Wild Coco is hard to keep right but won both starts last season including the Park Hill at Doncaster when last seen at the track in September. She's not easily overlooked but DANADANA is given another chance. The slow ground was a legitimate excuse for a below effort at Sandown last time and he'd been impressive before that when winning the Huxley Stakes at Chester despite looking ill at ease on that quirky track. Expected to stay this longer trip, Luca Cumani's charge gets the vote.
