A huge field and plenty to consider; from a shortlist of KNOX OVERSTREET, Roi Du Boeuf, Dancing Tara and Jambo Bibi, it is the first-named who is given the most tentative of nods. Tom Dascombe's Indesatchel colt has not been any great shakes in three maiden runs but his latest effort at Warwick was more promising. He made rapid headway at halfway before fading quite tamely but given a more patient ride today this 64-rated colt looks sure to acquit himself well. In a race where there are plenty of potential improvers or horses who haven't yet been allotted handicap marks, it might not be too wise to concentrate on ratings, however the 70-rated Jambo Bibi must be considered. She has shaped well on most of her maiden efforts but now steps up two furlongs in trip and that could suit this daughter of Iffraaj. Stablemate Roi Du Beouf is less exposed but he was quickly dropped into a Thirsk claimer last time out and it remains to be seen whether this gelded son of Hurricane Run has inherited any of his sire's ability. Senor Sassi makes his debut in a modest race so needs a market check for Stan Moore, Dancing Tara drops in grade today and her stable do very well in this sort of race, whilst Majestic Style went close in a weaker race at Yarmouth last time out but is more exposed than many in the line-up. Striking Love is the other to mention given she fared quite well in a valuable (and decent) Newbury seller last month, however with the market likely to provide some much needed clues it is Knox Overstreet who gets the nod.
