ROSE BLOSSOM is packed with pace on fast ground and sets a strong standard against a field predominantly of handicappers understandably hunting invaluable black type. However, the Fahey filly has already proved her prowess at this grade and scored decisively at Pontefract at Listed level two outings ago, whilst her third to Ladies Are Forever in a York Group 3 in midsummer is by far the best form on view. Aneedah, inconsistent according to this term's efforts, is useful at best, whilst Blanche Dubawi and Misplaced Fortune look best of the handicap brigade. Both have had interesting seasons, with the latter's recent Pontefract win suggesting that she has really come to hand this term. Anne of Kiev is also respected.
