Verdict
Three of these suffered narrow-margin defeats on their latest starts. Cobalty Isle was beaten a neck over 6f at Windsor and Jessinamillion was less than a length behind the winner over the same trip at Pontefract. But TAMIH separated a couple of subsequent winners when fourth in a blanket finish over today’s trip at Wolverhampton and Roger Varian’s colt has leading claims on that form. Thornton showed some progress when runner-up at Wetherby while Important Mission is a likely improver and Dream Ballad makes most appeal of the newcomers.
