Iberus bids for a quick follow-up win and can score again under a penalty, with Dix Bay, Welsh Dream and Yankie Jamie. The selection's connections are taking full advantage of what could be a lenient handicap mark, because his second to the high-class Cherub two runs ago is set to see him reassessed. He scooted home at Sedgefield last time and should go well in bidding to do so today. Scoop Thirty Nine is lightly raced and could well go well off his low weight, having shown bits of form. The Hairy Lemon has been raised eight pounds for a Uttoxeter win in a similar event and can go well again. If Brave Vision can get back to his form of 18 months ago, he is below a winning mark. Warrlin took to a first-time visor last time when second to Sir Walter at Market Rasen and, if it works again, can go well from a four-pound higher mark. Welsh Dream's third behind Thoutmosis at Kelso last time reads pretty well in the context of this race and he also has to be given consideration. Milton Star was ok on the Flat in Ireland a couple of years ago but his hurdling form has yet to match it. Yankie Jamie is back to near the mark from which he won at Musselburgh in January and, with his stable in form, could yet go well despite this being his seasonal return. Sadler's Pride has the odd bit of form to his name, as does Hill Time, who is lightly raced and should have better to come. Dix Bay is now a pound below the mark from which he won at Wetherby in April 2002 and, from a canny yard, has also to be afforded respect. However, there was plenty to like about the way that Iberus dispensed with the opposition at Sedgefield last time and he is taken to follow up.
