Fool For You beat 2018 winner Copper Knight with El Hombre and Encore d'Or further behind when landing last year’s renewal and is only 3lb higher. Magical Spirit won easily returning to the minimum trip at Beverley on his reappearance but is upped in class and raised 8lb and LAHORE makes more appeal. The latter’s recent success in this grade at Doncaster looks decent form and the strong-finisher should get the quick pace he needs with Lord Riddiford in the field. John Quinn’s charge made all at Chelmsford last time but Caspian Prince and Cowboy Soldier have plenty to find with the selection and Venturous is preferred having won over track and trip earlier in the year.
